→ Gender-Based Violence and Protecting Dignity Online

Protecting dignity and addresing gender-based violence in the digital sphere are efforts and topics that are very close to my heart. Like many others, I am also a survival of sexual violence. My experiences of sexual violence are what led me to apply to law school in 2013.

After I started studying law at McGill University, a confluence of factors spurred me on in 2015 to develop expertise at the intersections of law and technology. During my studies, I was able to bridge my passions and career decisions; I began exploring the topic of sexual violence online.

I am grateful to say that I published my first peer-reviewed paper on this topic in the last term of my degrees in law at McGill University.

This is a collection of my work in the past that has focused on non-consensual intimate images, privacy rights, and dignity.
